Primary 2

Class Teacher:  Mrs Smith

We are a busy bunch in Primary 2! We have been working on our literacy and numeracy skills every day using lots of reciprocal tasks to help us learn together. We have been enjoying lots of stories too which are helping us to develop our talking and listening skills.

Health and Wellbeing is also a big focus in Primary 2 and we have been investigating different feelings and how to be a good friend with our new buddy Twiggle the Turtle during our PATHS lessons. We are loving giving our PATHS pupil of the week compliments too.

This term our topic is wonderful weather. We have been learning all about the seasons and lots of new weather words and their meanings to expand our vocabularies. We will be exploring the weather we have in Scotland and look at how weather is different around the world.

Every Friday we reflect on our week and work cooperatively to discuss what new and interesting knowledge we have gained and which skills for learning, life and work we have developed.

PE days – Tuesday and Wednesday.
