Gàidhlig P1-3

Hello GP1-3!

Activities have been created to give a wide range of activities to complete at home. These activities are based on different skills and areas we have been learning about in class. In the pack there was a new jotter for you to use and your log-in details for different educational websites and Glow.

If you need us at any point you can email:

Miss Morton – gw19mortonbeth@glow.sch.uk

Mrs Smith – gw15macleodhannah@glow.sch.uk

Below is some guidance for undertaking the activities:

Àireamhachd | Numeracy – Use Education City, Sumdog and Topmarks to play a range of maths games. On Education City there are a number of My Cities setup for P1-3, covering topics we have learned about. You can also search for any game you wish.

Litearrachd | Literacy – Spelling words are included in the pack. Use this time to consolidate and revise spelling words. When doing spelling choose at least 2 activities from the spelling activity grid.

  • Reading: we have included a Gaelic picture book in your pack, this is for you to keep. Use Gaelic4Parents (from the useful links) to listen to Gaelic story books.

  • Writing: In your pack there was a jotter for a daily diary. There is a phonics booklet relevant to each class. Please complete at least a page per day.

Other Home Learning Activities – There is a grid of exciting activities for you to follow! Choose which activities you are wanting to do each day.

Remember that our Whinhill Gaelic Padlet is available to support you and provides Gaelic links, videos, games, resources and parent support.
