Celebrating Success

At Whinhill, we recognise a wide range of our children’s achievements from winning a dancing competition to learning how to ride a bike! We have some very talented artists, musicians, athletes and dancers. We are so proud of our pupils and want to recognise all of their achievements.

We encourage our pupils to share their wider achievements within and out with school by popping a celebrating success slip in Mrs Hunter’s Golden Box! At our Awards Assemblies, pupils who are celebrating success can share this with the school, if they wish. Our Twitter feeds and displays around the school promote and share these achievements too.

We also celebrate the success of our pupils’ learning through our learner disposition award certificates. Our Rights Respecting Citizen award celebrates our pupils who demonstrate our school values and respect everyone’s rights. These certificates are awarded by staff.  Award winners are displayed on our celebrating success wall in the gym hall!

Please see Mrs Hunter if you would like to celebrate an achievement and she will add it to the Golden Folder!

Our School Values: Confidence, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Kindness
