Safer Internet Day 2019 will be celebrated globally on Tuesday 5th February with the slogan: ‘Together for a better Internet’ and will launch the start of our Internet Safety month in Lourdes Secondary.

This year pupils have created the direction for the schools Safer Internet campaign “Be Beautiful, Be Respectful, Be Strong“, this is to tie in with the schools vision “To Love, To Teach, To Care”.  Since the start of term thirteen S1 pupils have been trained as Be Strong Online Ambassadors and will deliver two modules alongside S6 Ambassadors to all MyTime classes over the next few weeks – Selfies and Self Esteem and Cyberbullying.  Our S2 Ambassadors have been working tirelessly on two support campaigns – a video for pupils and one for parents.
