Help!!!!!!
Primary 7 will be walking to Grange and then into Kilmarnock town centre on Tuesday. They are going to be photographing some of the wonderful architecture in the John Finnie Street area, The Palace Theatre, The Dick Institute – to name just a few places.
However, we currently have no parents to assist and can not go without extra adults, If you enjoy a long walk and are able to help, please click on the title above to reply or contact Mrs Lawson on Monday morning.
Many thanks.

P7 at Portland Bowling Club
What a good time Primary 7 had at their first week of bowling at Portland Bowling Club. The members kindly gave up their time to share their knowledge with the children, who quickly realised it’s not as easy as it looks! Two more sessions to go – fingers crossed for the continued good weather.

Congratulations, Laura Mitchell!
Very well done to Laura Mitchell in Primary 7! The whole class entered a national photography competition called My Place Photography. After some photography tips from Grange Art & Design Department, Primary 7 took to Kilmarnock Town Trail to take their snaps. Laura went one further and went out to take some of her own too. She managed to come third from all the hundreds of entries from all across Scotland with her photograph Caprington In The Mist. I’m sure you’ll agree it is a stunning picture of a magnificent building we have right on our doorstep! Once again, congratulations, Laura!
Feel free to log on to the My Place Photography 2018 website to see all our entries.http://www.scottishcivictrust.org.uk/about/my-place-photography/competition/competition-galleries/primary-2018/

A Digital Sundial!
Mr Stewart helped us to understand more about time and light. He printed a 3D sundial in base 4 and let us test it out in the playground. The results were amazing. The sundial projected a digital time onto the ground!!
