Accessing Glow on an Xbox and PS4
If you own an Xbox or PlayStation you can use your console to access GLOW. This might help to free up laptops, tablets and mobiles. See the instructions below for more details, click on the photograph to allow you to read it.

Class Blogs
Some people are unsure how to access their child’s class blog. Here are a few steps to help you.
- On this Gargieston Primary and ECC’s Blog, go the primary classes section on the top menu bar all the classes are found in there.
2.Click on the relevant class and it will take you to the class blog. (It’s the blog that teacher’s post updates and homework on).
Microsoft Teams
As you will appreciate, due to the high level of users attempting to access Microsoft Teams this is causing problems with access to the programme. We hope things will begin to improve and we will keep you updated.

Home Learning During Closure
We have provided your child with GLOW, Bug Club and Sumdog logins in order to access these online learning platforms during closure.
Teachers have set up TEAMS in GLOW for their class where they will be uploading work for your child to do at home. Your child will also be able to chat to their teacher and their class through teams.
A quick guide to GLOW TEAMS has been made for you:

A list of suitable websites will follow to enable you to supplement learning from home. We will endeavour to update this on a weekly basis.
STEM TRIPS – WHOLE SCHOOL
This years STEM trip will be a whole school outing to
Dumfries House.
The trip will be spread over 4 days.
Friday 27th March – P1A, P2C, P4A & P6B
Monday 30th March – P2A, P3B, P5B & P6A
Tuesday 31st March – P1B, P3A, P5A & P7B
