P5 Visitors
As part of our Scotland topic in Primary 5, we were visited by Leah’s mum and a gamekeeper who spoke to us about local wildlife. We really enjoyed hearing facts about the deer in particular. Thank you for offering to come into school. We also had a visit from British Divers Marine Life Rescue who gave us a very informative talk about the important work they do. We especially enjoyed hearing about the rescue of the seal. Thank you for visiting us!
P1F Enjoy working with P7!
On Friday afternoon last week a group of P7’s came down to P1 to help us plant various seeds as part of our ‘In the Garden’ topic work. We worked in groups and when we were finished we also had fun making plasticene flowers together. Last but by no means least the P7’s volunteered to read us some stories. Thank you P7 and come back soon!

Nursery News
Over the past two weeks while Miss Carson has been on her travels, Mrs Wixon has been in the nursery covering the topic of People Who Help Us. After getting ideas from the children, we planned some fun filled activities together.
We focused on people who help us at home, in school and in the wider community. We went on visits to the Health Centre and Post Office. We also had a visit from the fire brigade, a first responder, a nanny and also some special people who help us in school.
We had some great learning experiences from this topic and would like to thank all of the people for helping us by telling us how they help other people.
