Primary 4 Christmas Party
Primary 4/5 Trip to Dino Park
Primary 4/5 enjoyed a ‘roaringly’ great trip to Dino Park! They enjoyed sharing the knowledge they’d learnt in their Dinosaur topic as well as learning some fun new facts. Activities they took part in included: Dino Walk and Quiz, Guess the Dinosaur Game, Dino Craft, Bouncy Castle, Dig for Fossils, Mystery Wall, Tree House Play, Enchanted Fairy Woodland and Dino Shop.
Dumfries and Galloway SUMDOG awards
Congratulations to Primary 4 who came first place in a recent Dumfries and Galloway maths contest. These 5 children also did extremely well on the individual leader board:
1st – Lewis Robson, 2nd – Logan Carson, 3rd – Kerri O’Dornan, 4th – Harry Cameron, 6th – Reece Latimer.
Primary 4 Titanic Group Posters
Primary 4 worked in groups to research information about Titanic Crew members as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd class passengers. They created posters and each group gave a presentation to the rest of the class to share their learning. They all learnt lots from each other! Well done.
Primary 4 Titanic Wall Frieze
Primary 4 were given the challenge of creating a HUGE Titanic wall frieze. They worked in groups on different sections of the boat and background then stuck it all together on the wall themselves! Didn’t they do well?!
Primary 4 ‘Flowers in a Vase’ Art
Last term Primary 4 created these lovely oil pastel pictures which were inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers in a Vase’.
We scanned the images to make wonderful Mothers Day cards and displayed the originals in our corridor.
We have had lots of kind comments about them so we thought we would share them on the blog too! 🙂
