Well done to all gymnasts who took part in the Regional Schools Gymnastics Competition on Saturday 28th of January at the David Keswick Centre. All gymnasts performed a floor routine and carried out two competition vaults. Although no prizes this time, it was a great experience for the pupils and everyone had a fantastic day. It was a pleasure to accompany the teams to the event. Thank you to all parents, family members and friends who transported the children to the event and stayed to watch the competition. Thanks also go to Miss Niven (Active Schools Co-ordinator), Kerry Aitchison and Abigail Simpson(Secondary Pupils and volunteers from Dalbeattie High school) for helping with the coaching and support on the day of the competition.

Well done to all of the gymnasts from Dalbeattie! This was a great event, we thoroughly enjoyed spectating. Thanks to all involved for coaching and giving up their time at the weekend so that our children could take part.
