We are thrilled to report that our Pupil Council members were successful in securing £1000 for the school.

Their bid to the ‘Loot for Lerwick’  was for:

‘We want to get our school pupils out into the community and experience the exciting things that Shetland has to offer. Many pupils in our school have not experienced many of the local sights and learning opportunities i.e. Sands of Sound Beach, Weather Station, Power Station, Rovahead, Organised Tours of Lerwick Bressay, Scatness Dig, Turriefield, Scalloway Castle/Museum, , Michaelswood etc. ‘

The Pupil Council members did a wonderful job of speaking  to members of the pupil about their bid and the benefits it would bring to the school community.
