Last week Primary 2s were focussing on healthy and unhealthy food as part of our topic: Keeping Happy, Healthy and Safe. We made fruit kebabs – a very healthy snack! We had good fun cutting up all the fruit, although we had to make sure we were using the knife safely and that our hands were clean.

P6 were extremely fortunate to have a workshop with the poet and comedian John Hegley on Friday. We had great fun in P6N!
As of Monday 23rd November all items from the tuck shop will be 40p
P3s entertained pupils in P1-3 today with their assembly on Light and Dark. They did an amazing job of sharing their learning with others. Their super audience were able to recognise many of the school values in their performance. Stating that they were like ‘Le
o the Learning Lion’, ‘Resilient Super Rabbit’, ‘Enjoyment George the Penguin’, ‘Kate the Confident Unicorn’ and ‘Robbie the Respectful Owl’.
We hope you agree…………….

For many years the Parent Council have organised many events for families. These have been to provide our school community with family events and to fundraise. The fundraising is vital and provides an opportunity to purchase larger more expensive items that the school budget simply couldn’t afford.
We are absolutely thrilled to share the photos below with you. These new blinds were recently purchased by the Parent Council for the school. They are now in 6 classrooms at a cost of £4400.
The new blinds, as well giving the classrooms a lift, are ensuring the light is kept out so that learners can see the interactive whiteboards clearly.
We are extremely grateful to our supportive Parent Council for this kind donation.

It’s been a busy few weeks in P6N! We’ve made wax resist pictures for Halloween/bonfire night, made a start on our Christmas salt dough decorations, one of the pupils brought in his ‘War Hammer’ figures to show us and we dressed in our pyjamas for Children in Need!
