Sports Committee Christmassy Day
The Bell’s Brae Sports Committee organised events on Thursday 12th December. Pupils were asked to wear something Christmassy and there was the opportunity to go to the gym hall to enjoy Christmas activities after their lunch. Mrs Redfern also helped the committee to set up a Christmas Scavenger Hunt in the playground. There was a lovely atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed the activities. Well done to the Sports Committee for their hard work in organising this.

Christmas Dinner! Christmassy Day
Last Thursday pupils and staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas Dinner. The canteen staff worked really hard to prepare a delicious meal. Everyone enjoyed it and there was a lovely atmosphere in the dinner hall.

Primary 1s Winter Weather
This term we have been learning about winter weather and freezing and melting. We have done some experiments, artwork and writing. We really enjoyed making ice lollies and eating them!

Goldilocks
Nearly £200 was raised through donations from parents as they were entertained by P7 performing “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.”

P1 Nativity
Last week the children from Primary 1 entertained the school and family and friends with their nativity ‘Busy, Busy Bethlehem’. The boys and girls have spent many weeks learning their parts and their songs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Scottish Wars Stop Motion
This term both P5 classes have been learning all about the Scottish Wars of Independence. To finish off the topic, we worked in small groups to create a stop motion animation using lego. This was really enjoyed by everyone. Here are just a couple of examples.
The sign of the week for 9/12/19 is ‘wonderful’.
