P7A August Roundup

We’re very nearly at the end of the month so it seems like a good time to check in and see how things are going.  Please reflect on the following questions and post your answers in the comments:

  1.  What have you enjoyed the most since starting P7?
  2. What have you found challenging?
  3. What would you like to do more of?
  4. What advice would you give to yourself for next month?

P7B Skipper Task

Our next Skipper topic is ‘Look on the Bright Side’. Harvard University research on positive psychology shows that gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways.

What are you grateful for and how could you show it?

P7B Review of the Week 21.8.20

We’re at the end of our second week back and it has been full of hard work. Reflect on the following questions to review your week.

  1. When were you at your best this week?

  2. What surprised you the most this week?

  3. What can you do with what you learnt?

  4. What suggestions do you have for next week?

Welcome to P7!

It has been brilliant welcoming all our brand new P7s back to KPS.  There have been a lot of changes but we are so impressed with how settled and adaptable you all are.  There has been much excitement and eagerness to get going with our new iPads and we have already started seeing how they can enhance our learning.

P7A had to sketch a self portrait as part of a Health and Well-being task.  In the past we would have been hunting around for mirrors but a quick selfie and we could draw ourselves easily.  We could even zoom in to get a better look!

P7A – Here are some reflective questions for the end of week one:

How has your week been?  What has been the best thing about being back at school?  What have you found challenging?  What would you like to do more of?
