Class Teacher: Mrs Tucker
Hello and welcome everybody to Primary 2’s class page on our school website.
We have had a super start and are settling in really well into our new classroom, where we are learning new routines, developing friendships and pupils and adults are getting to know a bit more about each other every day.
P.2 have some amazing staff taking care of us. On a Thursday morning Mrs Homer takes P.2 for Literacy skills and P.E. and Miss Gray will be supporting us all the way through our learning journey.
Each day we will do our best to develop our Literacy and Numeracy skills, building on sounds and numbers we have already learned and using these to transfer learning into the other areas of the curriculum. Play will be at the heart of P.2’s daily activities, to help build important life skills such as team work, communication, imagination and creativity.
As visible learners we will always take time to reflect on our progress and to know our targets and the next steps in our learning.
We look forward to having the best learning experience together – to build on and gain new skills and continue to grow our independence for the future, while having loads of fun.
We are all very excited for what lies ahead over the busy coming year.
