It’s a big responsibility being House Captains in P7. You need to show that you are capable of leading a house of pupils and you need to know the skills that you have. We try to be role models for our school and help the younger pupils show our school values.

Every Thursday, we count the house points for each class and then type them up on the computer. Each week we announce the points at assembly, letting the school know who has won. At the end of term we add up the points for each week to find the overall winner. Macintosh House won the first term and Quarrier won the second. So we are thinking of having a joint party together after asking members of the winning houses for prize suggestions. As representatives of our school we are often asked to help out at events like parents evenings or to show visitors around the school. We need to ensure not just pupils in our house, but all pupils are getting their rights.
