FAOL Enterprise – Christmas gift

Effective Contributors/Confident Individuals

The Snowdrops showed lots of interest in handling and exploring different textures and materials to create a Christmas gift.  We also used our counting skills to add chocolates to our bags and made confident choices of colours to decorate them.  The Snowdrops had to use their fine motor skills to hold and twist pipe cleaners too.  Well done, everyone!

Dinosaur stomping

This week we have been learning all about the letter “d”. We love playing pretend with the dinosaurs in class so we found them and decided to make some dinosaur prints. We dipped the dinosaur in the paint getting their feet covered in paint and then made footprints on a piece of paper. All children were able to hold the dinosaur and were confident individuals making their own footprints on their paper.

Christmas Time

In the Oak class we have been getting into the Christmas spirit.  We were effective contributors during our music lesson.  We all had a boomwhacker and together we had to wait and listen until it was our turn to play the note to create the tune of ‘Jingle Bells’.

We took part in lots for art activities to create some lovely Christmas crafts. We were confident individuals when choosing the items for our Santa wish list.
