The Stars class had a great time at the school party. We played corners, musical statues, pass the parcel and enjoyed dancing. Santa came too with a present for everyone.

The Stars Class rehearsed hard to learn our dance for the school Christmas concert. As angels we danced to Michael Buble’s ‘Save the Last Dance for me’ to critical acclaim from the ‘Lights, Camel, Action’ judges. We enjoyed learning and performing our dance.
We have had great fun interaction with others we were confident individuals taking part in all our games.
We had lots of fun at our Christmas party and we had a few winners within our class. Anthony and Jack all won a prize.
We have enjoyed taking part our Christmas yoga story, everyone was successful learners and managed to move their body into all the positions shown.

The Stars Class enjoyed a visit to The Garage where we played a fun filled game of 10 Pin bowling. We even managed a few strikes!
Santa came to visit us at Willowbank this week, he came with some elf helpers from Whitelees Retreat.
Everyone was happy to see Santa and we all got a flashing light up toy.
The Transition boys Confident Individuals in their P.E. class. The boys had two areas. One was a body weight circuit and one was using the fitness machines in school. Every boy made a fantastic effort. Well done!
We were very lucky yesterday and Santa came to school to visit all the classes. He was in the sensory room and all the classes got to go and see him. We all put on Santa hats etc and stood next to Santa to get a picture.
All the children seemed to really enjoy seeing Santa and received a sensory present. We were all confident individuals and all stood next to Santa.
The Transition boys were Confident Individuals during their Health and Wellbeing lesson. We looked at different characteristics and chose those which we would like to see in a friend. It was interesting to see the choices the boys made. Some were the same but each boy had a few characteristics that were different.
We had lots of fun applying our home economics skills to make some salt dough ornaments.
We added ingredients to the bowl, stirred them together and rolled out the dough. We also chose our favourite shaped cutter to press into the dough.
