Following instructions

The Asteroids made a jam sandwich yesterday using instructions to show them what ingredients they needed and what they had to do.

Once the jam sandwich was made, most of us enjoyed eating the jam sandwich for our snack.

We then showed off our recall and reading skills and completed a worksheet choosing the correct written or pictorial steps to making our sandwich.

We finished all off listening to the Jeely Piece song!

Great job, boys!

Love and Equality

In the Oak class we have been involved in weekly lessons based on LGBT. Our work is focused around two books and this week the book is ‘Prince Henry’. A story about love and equality between two people. Everyone has the choice to fall in love with whoever they want.

We spoke about our family network and who is around us and the people that care and love us. We created a family tree and we were
confident individuals when sharing with our friends.

Working on our literacy skills, looking for the letters and making the letter sounds, then practising the alphabet with the some of our favourite songs.

In SQA Communication we were deciding which character was our favourite, making lots of choices.
