For Fiddly Fingers today can you find out how many things you can get into an egg cup? If you don’t have an egg cup, don’t worry just choose another small container.
My egg cup
I gave it a go.
How many things can you get into an egg cup.
I managed to get 21 things into my egg cup. This is what I managed to squeeze in ….
What I managed to fit into my egg cup.
How many things can you fit in? Let me know how many things you could squeeze into your egg cup or container by replying to this post.
Leah has beaten me in the challenge, She managed to squeeze 23 things into her cup. Can you do better?

If you can do better, e-mail me a photo and I will post it up!
In Australia and other countries they are putting bears in their windows so that other families can go out and do a Bear Hunt! This is a brilliant idea and Pam has asked if we could maybe start the idea here 🙂
All the classes love this book so it would add to the excitement of their daily walk if could spot bears out and about in people’s windows.
If you are in contact with other families you could share the idea and soon lots more houses would have bears in the window – you could send us a picture of your bear in the window!
There is a Facebook group in Australia to give you an idea – maybe someone could start a West Lothian one and we could put the link on here?

Here is a link to the story too read by Michael Rosen (I saw him read his poems in Edinburgh and he is amazing!
Remember to keep practising your signs of the day! Send me a picture of you signing.
PE
For today’s PE lesson we are going to start with a warm up to a song.
Now that we are warmed up and ready, we are going to play a board play a board game “race to 100”. All you need is a bit of space, a dice and a family member to play with you.
Rules are simple:
Each player has their own 100’s sheet.
Players go at the same time.
Roll the dice, each person performs the exercise (you can use alternatives if are struggling or a wheel chair user), cross off that many numbers on the sheet (attached). See who gets to 100 first.
1= 7 Jumping Jacks (7 ab crunch)
2= 5 Push-ups (with knees on floor)
3= 5 Toe Touches
4= 4 Squat Jumps (4 elevations using chair arms)
5= 8 Mountain Climbers (8 lifts of leg alternately)
6= 10 Second V-Sit (10 second arms stretch up)
Can you get to 100 before your partner does?
Play the game as many times as you want and good luck.

Sensory time
Make your own playdoh – flour and water (little bit of salt and oil too if you have it). You can leave it as it is or you can add some food colouring to it. 🙂
You could also make some moon sand with flour and baby oil.
