This week in Red Class we have been exploring lots of different activities relating to Chinese New Year. We have been making Chinese lanterns, using play doh to create different symbols and completed different matching and sorting tasks too!
We got to meet Bessie who is a trained guide dog! We enjoyed meeting Bessie.
In Yellow class we are learning about Scotland. We have been talking about Scottish food and tasted haggis, then made these haggis pinwheels. Everyone liked trying them and asked to make them again next week!
Some of our Pinewood students had the amazing chance last Thursday to participate in West Lothian’s inaugural Powerchair Football event, which took held at Winchburgh Sports Hub. It was a terrific experience for our students, with some of them using power chairs for the first time.
