Today the nursery had visits from P5/6 and P6 to read us the stories they had written for us. It was a super experience for all of us and we are hoping to enjoy more activities together next year.

Santa in Livingston Again!
All of our children were delighted to see Santa at their Christmas party! We had great fun!

Healthy Snackers!!
Well done to the children who have managed to fill up their healthy snack bookmarks this term and who today were awarded with their special certificates from Mrs Ferguson.
I wonder who will fill their bookmark and receive their certificates next term?!
P2,P2/P3 & P3 Party Time!
Great fun was had by all at today’s Christmas Party, the children and staff danced their socks off!
P4 Go Electric!
P4 have been busy learning about different types of electricity. We carried out experiments and wrote up the results.
We used lemon clocks, balloons, a marble run and even had an experiment where we pinged elastic bands!!
Winter Ready in P1
Over the course of the week, please check in your child’s diary for their Glow username and password. In the event of extreme weather which results in a school closure, a list of fun indoor and outdoor activities can be found in the useful documents section of the blog (Winter Activities 2015). Your child can choose from the list and please note that not all activities need to be completed!

We have two entrepreneurs in the school! Jack from P4 and Mael from P4/5 decided to make a comic book selling business to raise money for Jak’s Den and the school.
They worked very hard to make the comics at home and sell them at lunch time in the small hall. The comic was about a minion called Indiana Bobby who thought he was Indiana Jones! They decided to charge £1 for large comics and 50p for smaller ones.
We are all very proud of Jack and Mael and Mrs Stewart can’t wait to put her feet up and read her comic during the Christmas holidays!
Christmas Party in P1
P1 had super fun at the Christmas party !!! We danced lots and played lots of Santa games!!!
We also got a big surprise as Santa came and delievered us some presents !!!
We had a amazing time !!

P1 Party Time!!
Primary one had a busy day last Friday with their Christmas party. Much fun was had by all with funky dancing, party games and party food. There was even a special visitor who popped in to say hello and deliver some presents before he had to head back to his sleigh! The children were so polite to Santa and even sang him a few songs. Didn’t they look good?!
