All schools across Inverclyde have been asked to share this information with families.
At Inverkip Primary and Nursery Class, we value positive and open relationships with our families. From time to time, situations may arise that haven’t gone as any of us would have liked. Our aim is always to resolve matters quickly, fairly and in partnership with you.
In the first instance, if you have a concern, we would ask that you contact Mrs Bradley (Depute Head Teacher). Where appropriate, we may then arrange a meeting with your child’s class teacher so that the matter can be explored and resolved promptly.
An appointment can be made to meet with us to discuss via the school office on 01475 715745 or by email at office@inverkip.inverclyde.sch.uk. Parents can also email Mrs Bradley directly at pamela.bradley@inverclyde.sch.uk.
As a school, we are solution-orientated and approach all concerns in a positive and restorative way, always keeping the wellbeing of our children at the heart of our decision-making.
If concerns remain unresolved, these can then be raised with Mrs Nicolson (Head Teacher) at una.nicolson@inverclyde.sch.uk.
Only if you feel that all attempts to resolve matters at school level have been unsuccessful should the Inverclyde Council complaints procedure be used. While we hope to resolve all concerns at school level, parents can also access the Inverclyde Council complaints process by contacting Education Headquarters at: admin.educationhq@inverclyde.gov.uk or by visiting: How to make a complaint – Inverclyde Council.
We appreciate your continued support as we work together to ensure the very best experiences for our children.
