School Improvement Priorities 2026 – 2027
At Inverkip Primary School and Nursery Class, we are committed to continually improving the experiences and outcomes of all our children. Our School Improvement Plan (SIP) identifies the key areas we will focus on during session 2026–2027.
This year, our improvement work is centred around four key priorities:
Learning & Teaching – continuing to strengthen high-quality learning and teaching through our KIP approach, with a focus on effective pedagogy, writing, assessment and professional learning.
Equity & Inclusion – ensuring every child has the support, opportunities and resources they need to participate, achieve and succeed.
Equalities & Pupil Voice – strengthening inclusion, equality and children’s participation so that our pupils have a genuine voice in the life and improvement of our school.
Cluster Improvement – working collaboratively with our cluster schools to share practice, strengthen transitions and develop exciting learning opportunities for our children.
Throughout the year, we will regularly evaluate our progress, listen to the views of our children, families and staff, and share updates with our school community.
Every child and person matters, every moment counts.
