Skills for Learning, Life and Work

In P7 we have the responsibility to promote Global Citizenship within our school.

Our groups in P7 are:

• Fairtrade – supporting ethical trading by choosing products that change lives. Find out more here 
• Rights Respecting – encouraging others to support children’s rights locally and globally. Read more about rights here 
• Eco – encouraging everyone to reduce, reuse and recycle to help keep our environment clean. Learn more here 
• JRSO – travelling safely and minimising pollution by walking or cycling to school. Click here 
• Health Squad – promoting healthy eating at break and lunch times.
• Sports Leaders – trained to help others lead a fit and healthy lifestyle and lead P.E for other classes.
• Literacy Committee– responsible for writing our school newspaper, work on promoting 1 + 2 languages and our class newsletter.
• Peer Mediators- responsible for helping pupils deal with any conflicts. We are good at understanding other people’s feelings and we don’t take sides.
• Global Citizens – responsible for looking at issues locally and globally.
• Charities Committee – promote awareness and fundraise for our chosen charities.
• Digital Leaders – responsible for all things ICT!
