📣 Calling all P5, P6 and P7 pupils 📣
As part of our Transitions programme we are delighted to invite you to our Halloween Disco on Thurs. 26th October, 6-8pm
Open to all pupils moving to LCHS (or thinking about it) in future 🎃
Due to announced industrial action, the school reopens tomorrow following the September weekend holiday for all pupils in S4, S5, and S6 only.
Due to the industrial action, S1, S2, and S3 pupils should not attend.
Industrial action is scheduled for Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th, and Thursday 28th September 2023.
Glasgow City Council will reassess the situation on Tuesday 26th September and issue an update regarding the arrangements for Wednesday and Thursday. This will be posted here: https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=30388
We will also share any updates on our social media channels, school app, and website.
Our Easter school returns next week to assist our S4, S5, and S6 pupils with their preparation for upcoming exams and coursework deadlines.
Easter school will run from Monday 3rd April to Friday 14th April. Subject-specific sessions will take place between 9am and 4pm each day, except Good Friday and Easter Monday. Full details can be found in the timetable attached to this post.
We welcome the support of parents and carers of senior phase pupils in encouraging young people to attend the sessions relevant to them.
Pupils should direct questions to class teachers, in the first instance.
Big Study Weekend will take place between Friday 17th and Sunday 19th February, and again from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th March. As a result of planned industrial action, LCHS will be closed to all pupils on Monday 16th January 2023.
all senior phase prelims, with the exception of Music listening, will go ahead as scheduled.
