We carved pumpkins and had lots of fun exploring the insides – touching and smelling them. We made peekaboo cats with chalk which are being displayed outside our classroom. We made spooky cauldrons with lots if different coloured glitter and sequins. The children were confident individuals at choosing their own glitter and sequins for the spooky potion inside the cauldron. We also made pumpkins for the window. We chose different tissue paper to put inside the pumpkin shape and them we laminated them. We put them on out windows in the classroom.
We have been working hard this week to plan our Halloween party.
We were responsible citizens and shared cookery resources to make some spooky themed snacks. We also had fun to create some decorations and carve pumpkins throughout the week.
Today we had a great time participating in lots of party games and were responsible citizens, taking turns with our peers.

The Oak class would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! We have made lots of Halloween decorations for the class, made a pumpkin bird feeder, enjoyed seeing all our friends virtually in our school Halloween parade then finished the week with our class Halloween party.
We were effective contributors in making our bird feeder and getting the class ready for Halloween with some spooktacular decorations.
