Effective Contributors – P.E. Dance

It was our last Scottish dancing lesson this week when Transition class went to P.E. The class were all Effective Contributors when they took part in a minion zumba warm-up. The class were excellent when they tried the Virginia Reel for the first time. Everyone took part with real effort and enjoyment. We finished up by testing our memories by doing a dance from a previous week. Everyone showed that they had been paying attention and danced a flawless St Bernard’s Waltz. Well done everyone. A new P.E. activity will start next week!

Effective Contributors – Dance

The Transition class took a break from rehearsing out Xmas show this week and just danced to keep moving and improve fitness. We had use of all the equipment and moved our bodies in many different ways. The whole class listened to Mrs Feeney very well and were Effective Contributors to each dance routine. A favourite was the wings, just a shame we couldn’t really fly!

We have been effective contributors creating Christmas art and craft work to take home. Scottish Dancing

We have been enjoying learning all about Scotland through our theme. On Monday, we were effective contributors and took part in a ceilidh with our peers and class staff.

We did very well to take turns, enjoyed experiencing the music, and copied new dance moves.
