The Stars class practiced hard for our virtual Christmas Showcase. We performed to the song ‘Let it Snow’ by Michael Buble. We brought in hats and scarves and dressed up as snowmen. We created a snowflake backdrop and acted out and signed to the song. We used the parachute to float tissue paper snowballs into the air. Many people said they’d enjoyed our performance.

The Sungazers successfully completed their Whole School Focused Area of Learning by learning, rehearsing and performing the Christmas performance. The pupils were confident individuals during the process and put on an amazing show. They were also effective contributors by preparing and fully participating in the whole school event.
The Bluebells were all confident individuals and participated in our class Christmas show. Most pupils helped make props for our Christmas show. They were all able to follow instructions and bounce up and down to the music.
I am so proud of them all for their participation and hoped you liked the show.
We have enjoyed fun games at our class Christmas party, elf twister, some monkeying around and find the hidden sweet.
We shared gifts, celebrated a birthday, and more Christmas themed art activities. We were confident individuals in all activities and we have had a lovely week together. We love Christmas!

The Stars class had a lovely Christmas party day. We saw Santa and his trusty elf who gave us all a present and toasted marshmallows. In the afternoon we played party games, pass the parcel, musical statues and corners. We did the hokey cokey, head, shoulders, knees and toes and did dancing to our favourite songs. We enjoyed a tasty party snack too.

Hide and Seek with Santa….where can he be?
The Bluebells had lots of fun today. We had a special visit from Santa this morning and his special elf. He gave us all a lovely gift and we also got to toast marshmallows with Mr Nicoll. We were confident individuals getting our picture with Santa and responsible citizens when around the fire toasting marshmallows. All of the children really enjoyed this.
We also had lots of fun at our class Christmas party. We played games like pass the parcel and danced to songs. We loved dancing to the “hokey cokey”. We also jumped on the trampolines and played with balloons. In class we played pin the nose on Rudolph and did some festive bowling. It was a super day.
