The Bluebells class have been very busy since we came back to school. We are all aware of our new morning routine. When we come into class, we write our name and “sign in”, we practise singing and signing the days of the week and months of the year. We also have written calendars where we overwrite or independently write the date.

Finally, we participate in sensory weather activities which we really enjoy!

Superhero to the Rescue!

Everyone enjoyed creating these Superhero pictures to go alongside our class charter! We are all effective contributors within our class.

It is our right to be heard, to grow, to have fun, to be safe and to learn.

It is our responsibility to take turns, help others, be active, be kind, take part, listen, make good choices, eat healthy and TRY EVERYTHING.

The cookery room

Yesterday the Sunflowers went to the cookery room for the first time. They listened well and were able to sit at the table. We then all washed our hands so we were clean and ready to touch the food. All the children were confident individuals and were able to come and choose a piece of bread and put it in the toaster. We then used a knife to spread butter on the toast. 🙂
