Fundraising School Christmas Card Project

Fundraising School Christmas Card Project

Every child will be given a template to create their own unique Christmas card design. These will be finished in school and sent home with your child.

If you would like to order your child’s Christmas card, please return the design and order form with your child to school ( do not send cash into school )

You should also pay the appropriate amount via ParentPay.

PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR DESIGN AND YOU KNOW THE VALUE OF YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU VISIT PARENT PAY.

Please make sure your order form amount is the same as the ParentPay amount –  any variations will delay your order.

***

ECC parents should return their order form with money  in a sealed envelope with name and amount on the front.

THE CLOSING DATE FOR ALL ORDERS IS – TUESDAY 10TH OCTOBER – NOON.

NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.

Communication Survey

Please find above the link for the Communication Board Survey. This survey provides helpful feedback on ways to improve our board and aid your child’s communication at home and within the ECC so if you have a few minutes spare I would appreciate your participation. Thank you to the 36 people who have replied already. This survey is completely anonymous.

Communication Board update

This week our Nursery Rhyme of the week is Twinkle, Twinkle Little star and our Makaton signs are star and sky please see the board for a demonstration of each sign these signs will change weekly. Newly added to our board is a yellow recordable disk which will be used to record different children reciting the Nursery Rhyme of the week please press the black button to hear these rhymes. We would appreciate if you could reinforce the Nursery Rhyme and Makaton at home as this aids communication and language skills. Our top tip is still regarding watching TV and will change every two weeks. I have added a flyer about the Speech and Language Therapy Facebook page which can be found by searching Speech and Language Therapy East Ayrshire here you can find info, resources and tips to use with your child please take a look.

Book Fair

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has bought books at the book fair. As always we have had a wonderful response from parents and children. Just a reminder that pupils can still buy a book tomorrow (Wednesday) at lunchtime in the library if they wish. Our final total will be announced soon!

Pink Group Autumn Walk

Yesterday the Pink group went out an Autumn walk to the local coffee shop, Central Park. We had such good fun and a yummy snack!

Big thanks to all the staff at Central Park and the parent helpers! 🙂

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Last Friday P7 held a MacMillan coffee morning. We sold: cakes, home baking and tea and coffee. We would like to thank everyone who attended the coffee morning. It was much appreciated. We made a cracking amount of £368.65. So once again thank you to every one who came along.  Whilst the coffee morning was taking place, some of the adults popped into the book fair.  After the coffee morning had ended some of the pupils could get the chance to buy some of the left over home baking for only 20p. They were delicious.
