Fun in the Sun!

As the weather is so hot ,& pupils will be spending more time outdoors.

Could we please ask that sun cream is applied before coming to school.

Pupils could also bring in sun cream if they need to reapply it during the school day and a sun hat to protect them fully from the sun.

P4B Ayrshire College Trip

P4B had a fantastic morning visiting Ayrshire College where they learned about coding during National Digital Learning Week 2018. They took advantage of the weather and had a play at the park on their way back to school.

Sponsored Event – Football and Zumba

A huge well done to all the boys and girls for taking part in the sponsored event organised by the GFG. Particular thanks to Mr Smith for organising the football event, Steven Swan for taking the Zumba, Jo Clark our Active School’s coordinator and all other helpers who made the day a great success.

P4B – Global Citizenship Assembly

P4B worked extremely hard when planning and carrying out their ‘Global Citizenship’ Assembly. They were sharing their learning on many important things such as:

  • The United Nation’s 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development

  • Water pollution linked to Global Goal 14 – Life Below Water

  • UNCRC Article 24 – Everyone has the right to clean water

They did really well when delivering the message that if everyone does just a little bit, we can change the world to a better place for all.
