Thank you GFG!

We would like to say a huge thanks to our Gargieston Fundraising Group for purchasing and organising gym bags for the storage of our new football kits and for the fantastic t-shirt. We love them!

We Need Your Help!

Look at our new shed!

We have purchased this shed with money we got from the ‘Food for Thought’ Grant.

We’re looking for some help!

We are going to be storing gardening tools etc and we’re looking for a parent or family member of our school community to offer their expertise to fit some shelving inside the shed.

If you are available please leave your details below.

Scottish Week 2018

To celebrate Robert Burns and all things Scottish, our whole school is taking part in a variety of Scottish related activities this week such as baking, learning about famous Scots, singing Scottish songs and much more.

All classes have been working hard learning a poem and last week three finalists from each class were chosen and then a class finalist. Well done to everyone, the quality of the recitations was excellent!

Our whole school Scottish Assembly will take place on Friday 9th February, 9.45  – 10.40am. Parents of the thirteen class finalists are invited.

Pupils are welcome to wear something tartan along with their uniform.

School is Open

The school will be open as normal today.

Wrap up warm!

Base 3 Christmas Party

We all had a fantastic time playing games and dancing our feet off at our Christmas party today!

Wider Achievements in P4B

Fantastic news for Lewis as he achieved the most improved player award for his football team, Bonnyton Thistle!

Well done to Dominic for his award for swimming 400 metres!

This relates to Article 15 of the UNCRC:-
You have the right to be with friends and join clubs— unless this breaks the rights of others.

Wider Achievements in P4B

Well done to Robbie Martin for being awarded a shield for the most improved player at judo!

Also, a huge well done to Tia Kwok for achieving first place in her gymnastics competition.

STEM Ambassador Visitor – Civil Engineering Base 3

Base 3 had a visitor today from Mr Dyet, who is a STEM Ambassador, a civil engineer and Adam and Blair’s Daddy. He works for Transport Scotland which he loves. We learned so much about what he does as a civil engineer and why and how he became an engineer. We took part in different activities including spot examples of civil engineering on a map. We also got lots of fantastic gifts from Transport Scotland. Thank you Mr Dyet, we learned so much about your job.
