To complete the online registration you will require to upload:

Should you require a copy of your child’s birth certificate for registration, this can be obtained at Certificates.scot.

You should also identify your second choice of centre and preferred pattern of attendance on the application form as there may be occasions when you cannot access a place in your first choice of centre. Applications which do not indicate a second choice may not be considered.

Show Racism The Red Card

This afternoon, as part of our Rights Respecting Schools developments, we had a short P4-7 assembly to explore the issue of racism which also launched a creative competition as part of Racism the Red Card.

The children has lots of creative ideas for what they could work  on in their classes which could be submitted as part of the competition.

Here is the powerpoint that was shown today and details of the competition which might be informative for parents and a helpful recap for pupils.

Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety

Well done to our Digital Leaders on achieving the Special Recognition Award for Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety (CR-IS) offered under the Digital Schools Award programme. We are the only school in East Ayrshire to have achieved this just now!

Our Digital Leaders also recently organised a competition to design an Internet Safety Logo for our school. Nina Bednarek’s design was chosen as the winning design. Well done, Nina!

All of this work relates so well to Article 17 of the UNCRC about getting accurate information from newspapers, magazines, television and radio. Also information from electronic sources such as through websites on the internet and through social media. The work of our Digital Leaders is reminding us how to stay safe online,
