P4/3 Update 18.12.15

Well we’ve finally made it to the holidays. Well done to the boys and girls who have worked very hard this term, I’m sure they’re looking forward to some well earned time off.

We all had a great time at the pantomime at Howden Park Centre on Tuesday, thank you very much to the parent helpers who came along. I think it got us all very much in the festive spirit.

The boys and girls also enjoyed their party last Friday and had a great time showing off the Scottish dances we have learned in school.

After the holidays we will continue to have outdoor PE on a Monday and indoor PE on a Wednesday so please ensure your child has appropriate kit on those days.

We will not have homework the first week back as the children do not return to school until Wednesday the 6th January, normal spelling and reading homework will resume the following week (beginning 11th January)

Hope you all have a great holiday and Santa is good to you 🙂

Mrs Wallace

Primary 6

We have had a very exciting few days with our Christmas party and the trip to the panto.  Lots of fun has been had by all!

School finishes as normal at 12.30 on Friday.  Children can take in board games for the last day but no electronic consoles.  We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely time over the Christmas holidays.

Happy Monday!

We are into our final week and we would just like to remind you of important events this week.

Firstly, P7 will attend the pantomime at Howden Park Centre tomorrow morning (15th) from 9.30am. The infants go in the afternoon.

On Wednesday evening it’s party time! Dress up and dance the night away.

The party starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm.

An adult must collect pupils from the school at this time.

Friday is our last day and we finish as normal at 12.30pm.

We hope you have a super Christmas break, take care and we look forward to seeing you all in January.

Merry Christmas and  Happy New Year!

What a fantastic week in P2 at Carmondean.

Mrs Matheson and Miss Clark would like to say a very big well done to all the children for doing such a fantastic job of our nativity and staying so on task when little things went wrong.  We are very proud of how hard you worked and how well you presented yourselves and our school.

We are looking forward to a very Christmassy and fun filled last week of term this week, kicking off with a visit from a fire-engine and the Christmas party.

Miss Clark and Mrs Matheson would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas an a very Happy holiday.
