Primary 7 – 22.11.19

Michelle from West Lothian Drugs and Alcohol Services came to visit us on Monday. We learned about the effects of smoking on our health, finances and relationships. We were shocked to hear that cigarettes contain thousands of chemicals. During the week we researched some of these chemicals and where else they are found. We are looking forward to her next visit on Monday.

On Tuesday we visited the Risk Factory where we experienced a range of situations highlighting dangers and risks. We learned about to keep ourselves safe and who to contact if we needed help.

This week we have been working hard to learn our words and songs for both the St Andrews assembly and our class assembly. Our singing is absolutely fantastic! Please continue to learn these song words at home (especially Auld Lang Syne final verse!)

Primary 7 have been incredibly busy preparing for their stalls at the Christmas Fair. We have created a range of beautiful gifts and fun games to play. We have works out our costs and potential profit and look forward to finding out our total profit on the day! Please come along and support us on Friday 29th November!
