Primary 7 08.11.19

A tree has sprouted in Primary 7 !  When completing challenges and activities in class, we are focusing on particular skills we have used. We know we will use such skills throughout our lives so we are developing firm routes. At the end of each week we use coloured stickers to mark the skills we feel we have been using.

We have attached a picture of a sign that is displayed in primary 7. It reinforces the message we give to pupils regarding social media. We would like to highlight that the legal age recommendation for using Snapchat and Facebook is 13. Within our health and wellbeing lessons, we continually remind pupils about the responsibilities which go along with using such communication tools .We fully appreciate that the use of certain social media site are completely out with the schools parameters, however, we would like to point out that any negative use can affect the class ethos .We would ask that all parents support us in highlighting the guidelines for responsible use. Many Thanks.
