Today the nursery children had a lot of fun playing with new resources mainly for outside. They enjoyed playing with our talking telephones and our new music wall.

Today the nursery children had a visit from Magic Mac. All the children enjoyed this and so did the nursery staff.

Today the morning nursery children had a very busy time. Firstly they visited to the Lanthorn to collect some duck food and then went up to the pond to feed the ducks.

They then went to check in the woods to see if there was any remains of the nuts they had hidden a few weeks ago.

We then went and had a play at the new park where many children had a great time going down the big slide. However some children did get a bit mucky when they slid down the hill when trying to get up it.

Today the nursery children were getting in to the Christmas spirit by decorating one of the Christmas trees.

Many of the children wore their Christmas jumpers to help raise money for Jak’s Den.

The past few weeks the nursery children have been preparing an area in the garden for planting. They were given the choice of what flowers they would like to plant. This week the children have enjoyed planting vegetable and flower seed and they will help care for them when they start to grow in the new year.

The nursery children this week had a great time  visiting the Lanthorn Woods where they hid some nuts for the squirrels. Although we were sure the squirrels were watching us so they could get some food. We will go back soon to see if they have left any traces.

Some children were even brave enough to put them beside the Bear Tree.

This afternoon the nursery children visited Almondvale Centre to look at the Poppy stand for the soldiers. They then had a little play at the swingpark.

The nursery morning children had great fun taking part in Bonfire activities this week.

This afternoon the nursery children had lots of fun doing Bonfire activities. We collected sticks and leaves to make bonfires. The children made some lovely firework pictures.
