P4/5 have been outside practising their fraction skills in the playground. We used our metre sticks to measure out a line 100cm long then split it up into equal amounts to create our fractions. We then marked our fractions on the lines. Pairs swapped over to work out what the fractions on the line were and to check each others work. It was great fun and gave us another way to practise our maths skills.
