Rehearsals are well underway for the school show, Edith’s Wartime Scrapbook. The premier takes place on Tuesday, 22nd March, when the guests of honour will be Catrina Hatch, HT, JYHS, Claire McTiernan, DHT, JYHS and Donna Lee, Manager of the Lanthorn. Tickets are on sale now, priced £2 from the school office.
Yesterday, during non-number maths P1b were learning all about symmetry. We talked about what symmetry means and impressed Mrs Lloyd when we were putting spots onto a ladybird to make it symmetrical. We also put a line of symmetry down our alphabet rug and had to position ourselves to make it symmetrical. We were really good at it!
