We were so fortunate to receive some sponsorship from Greig Seafood Shetland to allow us to purchase waterproof suits for all our P1 pupils. This has allowed the children to get outside every day to have fun playing with their classmates and benefit from fresh air, exercise and outdoor learning.

Doddie Challenge!
Over the past four weeks pupils in P3-7 have been clocking up miles for the My Name5 Doddie Foundation. Pupils have been recording their mileage and in total have accumulated 1, 335.81 miles, which according to Google, is the distance from Lerwick to Niederdoria in Germany! Here’s Frankie Tait, P6n who won the Bells Brae Doddie Challenge Champion title after totalling up 104.4 miles. Frankie’s prize was a My Name5 Doddie snood. The Class Champions were P3s who managed an astonishing 244.67 miles. Each P3-7 class also has a champion, with all results on individual class teams. We’re very proud of our pupils who have taken responsibility for recording their mileage, passing the information on through their teams and of course have accepted and risen to the challenge, helping their own physical and mental health by being active, whilst supporting the My Name5 Doddie Foundation. Well done Everyone! Absolute Superstars!
