Nathional Maths Week

Successful Learners/ Confident Individuals

We’ve had a busy week, enjoying taking part in maths and number activities everyday to celebrate National Maths Week. During morning group, we took turns to complete some maths tasks on the board and during the day we included other maths related activities, including measuring ourselves with lollysticks, collecting stones and sticks and putting them in size order and we even made numbers from sticks. We played a shape game and had to try and make our bodies look like the shapes shown. As part of our IDL topic, we weighed different vegetables and predicted which would be heavier/lighter. We also worked hard working out the missing number in addition calculations.

Phew! Well done, Asteroids!
