Theme: Edible Paint and Shopping

*Successful Learners*   *Responsible Citizens*

The Moonbeams have worked hard this week during their Food and Technology theme lessons. We made edible paint by mixing sugar, water and food colourings. The children then decorated slices of bread with a variety of paint colours. Take a look at our beautiful designs.

We went to Tesco for our outing this week. The children choose a snack and drink in the Café and then went shopping with our pictorial shopping list. They used their counting skills to count the items and count the pound coins as we were paying. We had a very successful day out and the children all behaved very responsibly.

The Bluebells class loved our visit to Kilmarnock Pets at Home. We had to be very quiet when we were visiting as we did not want to scare the animals. We met a few dogs that had been in for their haircuts and also loved seeing bunnies, guinea pigs, rats and lots of fish!
