Focused Areas of Learning – Whole School Projects – Christmas Show – Away in a Manger

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

The Bluebells class have been working really hard this term on our Christmas nativity. We have all taken on a role of either mice or spiders, have learned the words and signs for many songs and have been practising dances related to the story.

We have now moved our rehearsals to the Gym Hall and we are all coping really well with this and are looking forward to you seeing the final result.

What Makes a Good Friend?

The Transition boys were Confident Individuals during their Health and Wellbeing lesson. We looked at different characteristics and chose those which we would like to see in a friend.  It was interesting to see the choices the boys made. Some were the same but each boy had a few characteristics that were different.

Sensory assembly

This week we enjoyed the sensory assembly all about Hanukah. We made our own little wallets and put a gold chocolate coin inside.

We enjoyed using the mobile magic carpet and using light toys in the dark tent. It was great fun.

Christmas Crafts

We had lots of fun applying our home economics skills to make some salt dough ornaments.

We added ingredients to the bowl, stirred them together and rolled out the dough. We also chose our favourite shaped cutter to press into the dough.
