The Snowdrops enjoyed lots of party games and dancing at the school Christmas party. We even had a special visit from Santa at the end of our party!

The Moonbeams have had a fantastic week so far. Yesterday the got dressed up as Funky Angels and performed their dance in the Christmas Show. The children were brilliant and all of their parents and friends were very proud of them. Today they enjoyed dancing and party games and a special visit from Santa.
The Sunflowers had a wonderful time at the Christmas party and all looked lovely in their outfits. We even had a special visit from Santa. Some of the class opened their gifts and they received a book and selection box. 
The year we all participated in our school nativity – Away in a manger. We all tried on costumes and participated in the school performance of the Nativity rehearsals. We performed the nativity in front of an audience of pupils and the parents and helped to make props. Some pupils have been learning the song words and some signs. It was a fabulous show and the pupils worked really hard. Well Done everyone!

The Bluebells class enjoyed having personal choice during our art lesson today. We created Christmas cards to be sent home and got to choose whether we made reindeer, penguins or Christmas trees.

Well not long till Christmas – we are getting very excited in the Pine Room.
Shannon is becoming really confident individual in her lift pants, she enjoyed using the Switch it board and listening to the number songs.
And sitting with her friends for snack.
Melanie was in charge of crushing the biscuits when we made our Truffles.

Then rolling in chocolate sprinkles.
Wow!!! They were good enough to eat.

We made lovely Christmas Stockings, we counted squares of coloured card and then stuck them on the outlined shape, then of course used some glitter!!
Santa surprised us with a visit – and he is a really busy man at this time of the year!!!

What has Willow being doing this week???
Will she really enjoyed a wee night at the cinema watching Frozen 2.
Then played hide and seek in the Union Street Shop Centre Christmas Tree.
Loved her ice-cream from Mackie.
And has made great friends with Esme the kitten.
The Stars Class enjoyed a visit to The Garage where we played a fun filled game of 10 Pin bowling. We even managed a few strikes!
Today we all wore our Christmas jumpers. Everyone had a different Christmas jumper on. We designed our own Christmas jumpers using stickers and had lots of different Christmas materials and objects in the tuff tray to design our own Christmas jumpers too. In the afternoon we joined with the Daisies and had a fun afternoon making sock snowmen, watching a Christmas film and helping to make a gingerbread house. It was a wonderful day.
