Halloween Puffy Paint Monsters!

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *

The Planets class enjoyed exploring puffy paint. We made puffy paint by mixing PVA glue, shaving foam and adding some food colouring.

We used the puffy paint to make monster outlines and added googly eyes and some collage materials to make a face! We loved doing this and are very proud of them.

Autumn/Harvest Activities (CfE)

The Stars class were confident individuals and effective contributors when enjoying autumn and harvest activities this week. We did leaf colouring on the promethean board, handled colourful, pungent smelling, crunchy and noisy leaves and ground our own flour from wheat. We did harvest sorting activities and created lovely hedgehog pictures and harvest decorations. We also had fun tossing leaves on the parachute!

Responsible Citizens – Up-cycling Green House Roof

The Transition boys were Responsible Citizens while re-cycling plastic bottles to make a roof for the greenhouse in the garden. They put the cut bottles onto long canes, secured these with tape and took them out to the greenhouse to put them under waterproof sheeting. This will help insulate the greenhouse and help stop the water collecting on the roof.
