Responsible Citizens – Virtual Burns Supper

The Transition class were Responsible Citizens this week when they recorded a virtual Burns Supper for the rest of the school to watch on Burns Night. They set up the classroom to look like a real Burns Supper, setting the table and dressing the room and then took the responsibility for different elements of the ‘night’. We had the haggis piped in, speeches and we finished with a sung and signed rendition of Auld Land Syne. The videos were then uploaded to the school computer to share with all the other classes. Well done everyone!

IDL – Making Boats From Recyclables

*Effective Contributors*   *Responsible Citizens*

The Snowdrops have been working hard on our Glasgow Gruffalo theme this week and after seeing pictures of the River Clyde we decided to have some water play and make our own boats. We gathered some recyclable materials to make our boats and worked in pairs to choose items that we would add to the base of our boat. We decorated sails for our boat and attached these, too. The Snowdrops worked well together and everyone contributed to the making of our fleet! Great work, Snowdrops!
