Responsible Citizens – Virtual Burns Supper

The Transition class were Responsible Citizens this week when they recorded a virtual Burns Supper for the rest of the school to watch on Burns Night. They set up the classroom to look like a real Burns Supper, setting the table and dressing the room and then took the responsibility for different elements of the ‘night’. We had the haggis piped in, speeches and we finished with a sung and signed rendition of Auld Land Syne. The videos were then uploaded to the school computer to share with all the other classes. Well done everyone!

Burns Supper

The Oak boys enjoyed dancing at our Ceilidh on Friday afternoon with all their friends.  A good time had by all! We were all effective contributors when it came to our Scottish dancing! Then confident individuals when it came to the freestyle dancing.
