We are going to create a water wall for the children in the ECC to explore during outdoor learning. We are looking for donations of plastic pipe, an old tap, water spinners and a large piece of marine ply wood to fix these onto. If anyone could help us with donating any of these items we would be very grateful. Please speak to Mrs Hendrie or Miss Gray if you can help with this.

Scottish Cup Tour
We had an exciting start to the day as the first East Ayrshire school to host the Scottish Cup on its tour. Our football teams were desperate to get their hands on the cup!! Many thanks to Mr Hay for organising this great experience for our children.
What happens in Gargieston during In-Service Days?
We hope that you have all enjoyed your week off school. Hopefully the children have all been out enjoying the good weather.
The staff have been very busy over the past 3 days sharing information and making progress with:

And we also enjoyed a visit from Mr Smith, a lovely buffet lunch from Mrs Patton and a baby shower for Mrs Kerr.

P1D’s McCoo Naming Competition
Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter our McCoo statue naming competition. We held the draw this afternoon. Now, I don’t know what the odds of this happening are. But, Ruaridh picked the name RUARIDH MCCOO out the hat! So there we have it our McCoo has got a name. All we need is for Steven Brown to add our McCoo to his clan. Fingers crossed.
Wider Achievement
Well done to Annie McDowell, P4, who received her wider achievement certificate today for her achievement in gymnastics.
