Here, for your information,  is the latest guidance which was recently posted on the East Ayrshire website:-

Following national advice and reports from the Met Office which show areas of East Ayrshire still in an Amber weather zone – and other areas at risk of snow – we are prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our young people and all schools and Early Childhood Centres in East Ayrshire will remain closed to pupils on Friday 2 March 2018.

We anticipate all schools and Early Childhood Centres will re-open as normal on Monday 5 March, but please check here and on social media for the latest updates, given the unpredictable and rapidly changing weather patterns.

Charlotte McLardy – Congratulations

We are excited to learn that Charlotte is the winner of the best task sheet for week 5, voted by Fishkeeper Fry.

The said that the task sheet was very detailed and they loved the names of our fish.

Well done to all our Starwriters this week. They were Michelle McCann from P1, Laughlan Nicol and Finlay MacDonald from P2, Phoebe Dunlop from P3 Sophie Jackson and Katie Miller from P5 and Emma Simpson from P6. The next meeting of GFG will take place on Sunday 25th February at 1930 in The Park Hotel. Anyone who wishes to attend and get involved in fundraising for the school will be given a warm welcome.  

In addition the next Parent Council meeting will take place on Monday 26 th February at 1900 in the school meeting room. All from ECC and school are very welcome to attend.

We have purchased this shed with money we got from the ‘Food for Thought’ Grant.

We’re looking for some help!

We are going to be storing gardening tools etc and we’re looking for a parent or family member of our school community to offer their expertise to fit some shelving inside the shed.
