Scottish Week – Music with Mr Hay – Monday 25th January

Good morning everyone,

This week we would normally be celebrating everything Scotland within school and be taking part in lots of singing activities.

Mrs McKee was keen that we still celebrate this while we are at home. Have a watch of this video, sing along and send me a video!

I would love to see your child singing along so please upload their video for Auld Lang Syne on the form below.

Enjoy!

Mr Hay

Developing the Young Workforce

We are very excited for the next three days in school when we will be taking part in workshops linked to Developing the Young Workforce.

A massive thanks in advance to all the parents who are coming in to work with our classes tomorrow.

Keep your eyes peeled on the blog for what we are getting up to.

Choir Performance with Kilmarnock Concert Brass

Our choir entertained a full house at the Howard Centre on Sunday evening as they joined Kilmarnock Concert Brass for their Christmas Concert.

The choir delighted the audience with 6 songs and then also joined the brass band singing ‘Away in a Manager’ and ‘Starry Night’.

They were absolutely amazing! Well done to everyone who came along.

Some of our choir members became percussionists for the finale and Emma became the conductor!

I hope you enjoy listening to the videos. We all came away feeling very festive.

Gargieston Choir @ Vow to Wow!

Our choir certainly wowed the crowd at Ayrshire College last night. They sang beautifully and represented the school very well at the event.

Praise was heard from Councillors, Senior Council Officials as well as parents, families and members of the public.

Thank you very much to all the children for coming out at night time.

We must say a huge thank you to ‘Love Lila Photography’ who captured some beautiful pictures of our choir.
